Safeguarding at Minds Lead
At Minds Lead, the safety, well-being, and dignity of every young person are central to everything we do. We are committed to protecting their physical, emotional, and mental health throughout their time with us, creating an environment where they feel safe, valued, and ready to grow.
Our safeguarding approach includes:
Protecting young people from harm, abuse, or neglect in any form.
Creating a safe, calm, and positive environment where every student feels supported.
Ensuring all staff receive regular, up-to-date safeguarding training so they can identify concerns early and respond effectively.
Providing support for students experiencing challenges at home, in school, or within the community.
Safeguarding means ensuring every young person feels secure, cared for, and able to develop with confidence. We take this responsibility seriously and work in close partnership with parents, carers, schools, and external agencies to keep our young people protected.
If you have an urgent safeguarding concern
If you are worried about the immediate safety or welfare of a young person outside of our operating hours, contact the police on 999 straight away. For non-emergencies, call 101 or reach out to your local safeguarding team.
At Minds Lead, safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility—and together, we create a place where young people can learn, develop, and thrive.
